I was 15 years old; I made a life-changing decision; I went to study abroad in the United States. A girl from a small town in China has never even dreamed about going to America. Not knowing what it is like on the other side of the world, not speaking full sentenced English, and not having friends and families by my side. I decided to take on this journey. Alone. A journey was full of unknowns. Yet, full of chances. And the one thing I would tell my 15-year-old self is, "Never underestimate yourself, never set limitations on who you can become." I never imagined being a student leader and able to run the student government in an American high school. I never imagined giving speeches in front of the whole school and getting applause and tears.

I never imagined being the president of the International Student Association in my first year of college. I never imagined I would start my own business in Miami. I can not predict my future, but I know my potential. Never underestimate yourself! Never set limitations on who you can become!
